Milana

Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub is an American actress, comedian and activist. Born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents She began her career as a child actress soon after her move to the United States. In AT&T commercials on television she played the role as Lily Adams (saleswoman) from 2013 to 2016 and then in until 2020. In addition to her commercial appearances, she was a series regular on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction show Other Space (2015). She was also a regular on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016–2017). Vayntrub was also part of the cast as Squirrelgirl on Marvel Rising in 2018 following her casting in the pilot series for New Warriors. Vayntrub was Jewish and was born in Tashkent in the Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. At the age of 2 she left together with her parents to U.S. to escape antisemitism. She settled in West Hollywood. At the age of five she started appearing in Mattel Barbie commercials. This was in part due to the difficulties in the family's finances. Vayntrub briefly was a student at Beverly Hills High School. She dropped out of school after her sophomore years. She was able to get a GED and later was able to earn a Bachelor of Arts (Communication) from the University of California San Diego. She was a part of the Upright Citizens Brigade, and was a student of Improv comedy.
